UAB „NexDef“ is a Lithuanian defense technology startup based in Pakruojis, dedicated to developing innovative antidrone solutions for modern battlefield challenges. Established with a mission to enhance national and allied security, NexDef specializes in the design and production of advanced counter-UAV systems. Our flagship products, the reusable hybrid rocket launcher „Gabija“ and the single-use rocket „Diablo,“ have been successfully tested in real combat conditions on the Ukrainian front, achieving an 85% success rate against small and medium-sized drones.
Located at Statybininkų g. 9b, Pakruojis, NexDef is preparing to launch mass production with a capacity of 1000 „Gabija“ launchers and 5000 „Perkunas“ rockets per month, pending final aerodynamic refinements and certifications. The company collaborates with strategic partners, including the Lithuanian Defense Resources Agency (GRA) and legal firm „AAA“ for patenting, to deliver cutting-edge, cost-effective solutions tailored to the needs of Lithuania, Ukraine, and NATO allies. NexDef aims to become a key player in the European defense sector, addressing the growing threat of unmanned aerial systems.

GABIJA:
GABIJA is a reusable hybrid rocket launcher designed to neutralize small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Crafted from molded polycarbonate, GABIJA is lightweight and ergonomic, intended for use by a single operator. It launches „Diablo“ rockets and features an intuitive control system, including a LED display for battery status, audible/light signals, and dual-mode firing options („Fire“ and „Detonate“). The system provides precise targeting and is equipped with a spare parts container (2x 9V batteries, screwdriver, glue). Successfully tested on the Ukrainian front with an 85% success rate, GABIJA offers a cost-effective and portable solution for countering drone threats.
Perkunas:
PERKUNAS is a single-use rocket designed for deployment with the GABIJA launcher, specifically engineered to neutralize UAVs at altitudes up to 200 meters. Powered by 1–3 reactive engines (reaching speeds of 20 m/s), PERKUNAS carries a 200 g plastic explosive (RDX-based) charge with controlled detonation capabilities. Weighing only 550 g, it combines portability with high efficiency. Perkunas’s aerodynamic design is currently being finalized to enhance flight stability, with completion expected within 4 months. Proven effective in real combat conditions, it offers a low-cost, high-impact antidrone solution adaptable to various battlefield scenarios.
